"Sorry, Mom." Riley said glaring up at the woman.

She looked over at Victoria and put her fingers to her head in the shape of a gun, pretending to pull the trigger.

She agitatedly fixed her ankle bracelet and rolled her smokey blue eyes.

Logan walked into the class.

He put his stuff down by a chair and sat down hurriedly.

Have they even started? Good, I'm not late.

Riley glanced at Logan and turned to Victoria. "Well, One of the guys has arrived."

She said blankly, then turned towards the professor.

"So are we going to sit here or actually do something?" She asked raising an eyebrow at the woman.

"Yes." She snapped.

"Now, Teamwork. I want you to pair up, one of you will get the shrivelfig, then you both will skin it as a team. It's more of like, a research type experiment on the plant."

She said, twiddling her thumbs, trying to make a point.

"Got it? Now.... Go!"

She said, pointing at the cabinet full of shrivelfigs.

Lucinda walked into the room late, but her hair was messed up, and she wore one red sneaker and one blue sneaker.

"Sorry," She muttered.
