Victoria's Birthday Party, Come One.. Come All

Riley's eyes doubled in size and her heart skipped a beat.

OH.... MY... GOD...

She glanced at Victoria and flashed her a look that almost spoke for itself.

She was flipping out on the inside.

"Uh, Excuse me for a second."

Riley walked around the corner to a empty room and screamed at the top of her lungs, before calmly walking back into the other room and smiling.

"I had to get that out..." She said quietly, pulling a strand of hair back behind her ears.

Logan smiled quietly.

"Could we go for a walk, maybe?" He glanced apologetically at Victoria. "I know it's your birthday, is it okay...?"

Riley smiled and looked at Victoria pleadingly.

"Yeah, there's not a cornfield for a few blocks." Riley pointed out.

"Oooooooooooh swoon!" Victoria giggled. "Sure lovebirds!"

"Yes! Let's go." Riley grabbed Logan's hand and ran outside, stopping to close the door behind them.

"Hehe.. Awkwardness.." She muttered quietly.

Stepping lightly on the gravel, they started walking.

And Riley planned the scene in her head.

They walked outside.

It looked cloudy, and was supposed to rain later in the afternoon.

"No cornfields?" Logan joked, as they walked along the edge of the road.

"Hey, Riley?...I wanted to ask you something..."

Riley looked at him anxiously from behind her brown hair.

"Yeah..?" She asked, urging him to go on.

Hopefully he doesn't get mugged this time...

Logan took a breath.

"Well," he said hesitantly, "well, I was just wondering...if you maybe water to...go out....with...me?"

A large smile rapidly appeared on her face.

"YESSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!" She squealed hugging him. "I'D LOVE TO!!!"

Logan's grin was big enough to shove a banana in his mouth.

"Cool." he laughed.

Riley smiled and looked up at the sky.

"It looks like it's going to rain," She began slowly, looking back down at Logan.

"Think we should go back?"
