Victoria's Birthday Party, Come One.. Come All

Riley was running through her new house in Philadelphia.

She'd live with her scatterbrain aunt, until she died or moved and Riley would then inherit the house.

Her family of course still remained in Titusville.

She hung streamers in the cozy kitchen and put up balloons around the porch that stretched all around the house.

Today was important. Victoria's birthday. Riley had it marked on her calendar and memorized it by heart.

She hoped everyone would show up.

"AUNT JOSEPHINE WHERE'D YOU PUT THE PRESENTS!!??"

Her aunt came down the stairs in a white sundress with her glasses pushed up on her nose twirling her finger on the wall.

"Oh, I put them in the parlor RiRi."

Riley checked on the twenty eight presents stacked up in the open-windowed parlor.

"Ok, Were ready then. Cake...Check. Presents, Check. Party games, --ahem-- Check. Just dance... Spin the bottle, Truth or Dare, Uh.. ? Oh well, We don't need monopoly."

Riley grabbed a birthday sign out of the closet and ran out to the edge of the drive under the shaded trees. The old oaks and willows danced in the breeze and a few of the many horses out back whinnied as Riley ran out on the cobblestone.

She stuck the sign into the grass by the rod iron gate that connected two white fences.

"Phew.. Now, We... Wait."

Riley trailed back up to the house and sat down inside while her Aunt began painting cleanly in the kitchen.

Darren walked up to the house and checked the address on the card Riley had given him beforehand.

"Yep...i think I got it right..."

How weird would it be if I was all like "Hi, I'm here for Victoria's party" and there was Snape staring me in the face...does Snape even live around here?

He knocked and shifted the bulky package to his right arm.

"SOMEONE'S HERE! MOVE!!" Riley shoved her aunt over and her painting splattered all over the kitchen table.

Riley flung the door open and waved at Darren.
"Hello, Man of the hour. Victoria's gonna be happy your here."

Riley winked at him and spun around on her heels into the kitchen where her aunt was dabbing paint up with toilet paper.

She ignored the woman and turned on the stereo for when victoria showed up with the rest of the guests.

"Make yourself at home." She said over the music.

Logan walked up to the house, seeing Darren enter.

"Hey Riley," he said, grinning at her, and handing her a present.

"This is for Victoria. I like your hair...did you dye it?"

"Hey! Wait for me!" Christopher yelled, following Logan and thunking a package into Riley's hands, smiling.

"So, are we... surprising her, or what?"

Riley ran in quickly and put the presents all down in the parlor.

When she came back she smiled, "Yeah.. I did dye it. "

Adrianna walked uncertainly behind the boys.

She gave a package to Riley.

"I know I don't know either of you that well yet," she said, grinning at Riley, "but I think this'll be really fun!"

Jeremy shrugged and walked up to Riley, dropping a box into her hands.

"When will she be here?" he asked.

Victoria slowly walked up the deserted (at least it looked like that) drive.

"Helllllllooooo? Riley?" she yelled, brows scrunched together.

She could hear music.

Who would be playing music when there's no one there?

"Not sure, Oh, there's the birthday girl now!"

Riley put the presents in the living room and ran out to hug Victoria.

"Hey. Come on, The best time of your life awaits you. We've even got badmitton set up out back." Riley said grinning.

Victoria smiled confusedly.

"Okay...?"

Riley smiled.

"Keep your eyes, open..."

She walked inside and winked at Logan before sitting down on her couch to speak to her aunt.

"RiRi, You know your friend victoria seems quite different from when I saw her last, Of course you do too. Where'd that tiny little girl go?"

"Aunt Josephine, I'm not six anymore, I don't run around with a cape on. I've grown up. Pretty soon, I'll start driving."

"I know.. I just miss the old you." Riley rolled her eyes and stood up. "I'll always be me."

She smiled and moved to let her aunt get past to go upstairs.

Thank god, she's gone.

Riley could now be a proper hostess. Although last time she was in charge people were getting mugged and kidnapped like there was no tomorrow.

"So uh... Birthday Girl," She said smiling at Victoria, "Anything in particular you wanna do first?"

Toria shrugged. "Nope.....not really......"

Riley gasped sarcastically.

"You need laughter."She mischieviously slithered into the kitchen and got her laptop, bringing a video onto the tv for them all to watch. she stared at it, trying not to laugh.

Victoria giggled. "I can do that on my laptop!!"

Riley smiled.

"See this is why your my best friend. We're always there to get each other happy again."

Victoria grinned. "Yep. Hey, watch this!"

Riley silently snuck over to Logan during the video and nervously bit her lip before holding onto his hand.

She looked at him slowly and smiled.

oh god, am i really doing this? eeehhhhh.... i think i'm going to die

Victoria giggled and snuck a glance at Logan and Riley.

She slowly got up and looked around the house until she found some ribbon.

Ahaa!

Toria crept silently back over and tied it quickly around their wrists, and double-knotted it.

Then she jumped over to the computer and quickly typed something in, giggling again.

Riley stared open-mouthed at the ribbon that bound their hands together.

"Victoria... Birmingham... When i get untied from him i am gonna kill you so hard..."

Riley breathed. "Until then...I'm gonna enjoy it."

She somewhat smiled awkwardly and glanced at Logan.

He was dancing to this the other day and he grabbed a rose and stuck it in his mouth///

Victoria got up and whispered something in Christopher's ear, which happened to be, "Do you like Riley?"

Riley pried at her wrist to get it out of the stupid ribbon.

Almost giving up she pulled Logan along with her into the kitchen and got a knife.

With it she sliced the ribbon and blushed in embarrasment.

"Oh, Well... this is awkward."

Logan bit his lip.

"Uh....yeah..."

He stared awkwardly at Riley for a moment.

Then, he leaned in and kissed her.
