Victoria was walking back from the library. The fresh air felt nice.

She had checked out a few books on fantasy, and was window shopping on the street a few blocks from her house.

Victoria saw a shelter, and she looked at all the pets inside. A German Shepherd puppy was playing in the window.

Out of pure instinctive feelings, Victoria walked in and payed for the little puppy.

"I'm gonna call you Maximum," Victoria grinned. "Max for short."
