Surprises... With Stripes!

Riley was finally leading her sister Lucinda to her house, so she could see where Riley had been (Or moved to) while they were separated.

But a surprise like no other awaited them on the cobblestone drive.

Riley looked straight ahead and stopped dead in her tracks.

Two tigers lay in her yard, grooming and cleaning themselves.



"Tigers!?" Riley squealed like a little girl on Christmas.

"Hey Muffins!" Said her aunt Josephine, stepping out onto the porch and skipping across to them.

The two tigers got up and followed her.

"They stay here, but they're yours darling!" She said hugging Riley tightly.

"Aunt.. Josephine... I Can't.. Breathe!" Riley gasped, prying her aunt from her.

"They're amazing.." Riley knelt down to run her fingers gently through the fur on one's back. He grunted and brushed up on her, like a huge house-cat.

"Where did you get them?" Riley asked, sitting down on the grass as the other tiger jealously laid down on her.

"The circus didn't want them. They were going to be either killed or... Left alone. And I thought of you. You used to love that one movie about those tigers, what was it about like, two tiger brothers..?"

Riley looked up, holding the tigers tightly. "KILLED?"

She looked over at Lucinda. "Come pet them." She said, beckoning her sister.

Her eyes still closed Lucinda opened her eyes to see, tigers.

She walked over to the tigers and started petting them.

"Here you can have one." Riley said smiling.

"I'm going to name you Perasella." She said gently stroking the female tiger.

"Sis," Lucinda said "I have no room over at the safe house."

Riley grinned. "Live here with us!" She said happily, arms thrown up in the air.

"It'll be like when we were little girls again! Coco and the play station very morning."

Riley smiled excitedly. "It'll be great! You will move in will you?"

She thought to herself, Moving in with my sister, or live in a old abandoned building.

"I guess I'm moving in," She said smiling. "But, I want to keep the safehouse for like parties. BBQ's stuff like that."

"DEAL!"

Riley jumped up, grabbed her sister's hand and sprinted inside to her room.

"Yeah uh.. I guess we'll stay in here."

Riley said gesturing to the bunkbed by the lime green wall.

All over the walls posters were plastered of celebrity muggles, tv shows and other things.

Riley put her jacket on the coat rack and climbed onto the top bunk, moving around her blankets and pillows so she could sit.

"Like it?"

"This is waay better then the safehouse," She said climbing into the bottom bunk.

Riley smiled.

"Yeah." She looked onto the wall at a few pictures of Logan tacked into the drywall.

"So.... You hungry?" She asked, jumping down from the top bunk.

"A little," She said rubbing her stomach.

"Spagetthi?" She asked.

"You know it."

Riley said running to the kitchen, socks making that Slick Slick Slick noise on the hardwood floor.

When the girls reached the kitchen Riley took two bowls out of the cabinets and got the noodles, spaghetti sauce, and turned on the stove.

"Luci, would you hand me the black pot under there." She said pointing to the cabinet where they kept the pots and pans.

She ripped open the spaghetti noodles, ready to dump them in the pot.

Lucinda grabbed the pot and sat in next to Riley.

Riley nodded her thanks to Lucinda and filled the pot with boiling water, then poured the noodles in.

"The game is afoot!" Riley said, stirring them a bit before letting them boil.

"Want to do the meat?" Riley asked, handing her the hamburger.

"MEAT!" She said throwing the hamburger into the pot on the stove and cooking it.

Riley opened a can of tomato sauce and dumped it in with the noodles.

She picked up the pepper and sprinkled a dash of it in, stirring it and turning down the gas down.

She heard a crack of thunder and turned on the news, sitting on the counter looking at her county on the little weather channel box.

"Well we're due for thunderstorms..."

Lucinda finished cooking the meat, "Thunder storms?" She asked

Riley shrugged.

"Probably just some thunder, rain, and lightning."

Riley changed the channel.

"No biggie."

"Ok," She said "Done with the meat!"

"Oooh! Good!" Riley put the meat in the spaghetti stirred it all in with the noodles and sauce.

"Now just let that cook and we'll be done."

She started to giggle and bounce like Victoria "Spagetthi!"

"mm.. Yeah.."

After a few seconds Riley had fallen asleep on the counter, and weird as it sounded... She was laying down, hugging a bowl.

"CARVER #1!" Luci shouted grabbing some bowls and filling them both with Spagetthi.

Riley screamed and threw the bowl she was holding up in the air.

The china broke and Riley looked down at it from the counter.

"Oops.."

Lucinda took out her wand and aimed it at the bowl "Repairo."

It immeditly was put back together.

Riley smirked at her, "Learned that from Jeremy didn't you?"
