Legless LARP

Riley sat in her wheelchair in a field, with some nerdy guy friends of hers.

They were muggles, but Riley loved hanging out with them.

"How are we going to do this..?" One of them asked, his name was Jasper.

Riley shrugged, "I can't run, walk, or... jump."

At that instant a blonde haired boy snapped his fingers, "Riley, you can be the crippled princess that us knights have to transport to Unaforgia, your kingdom."

"Oh thanks, Way to rub it in."

She said with a sarcastic ice in her voice as one of them put a Burger King crown on her.

"Ready... Action!!" Jasper screamed, and the blonde boy, Edward, picked her up and placed her in the arms of the next 'Knight.'

"Don't drop her!" "Easy, she's royalty!" "I'll skin you alive if she falls." Sprang her friends' voices.

After awhile the chain of guys were passing her down the field until one placed her gently in the tire swing.

"The princess is home!!" He yelled, fist slicing through the air like a blade.

"Nice, Jonah." Jasper said, high fiving him and helping Riley out.

"You guys did pretty good. But you need to get more girls for this, i'm feeling awkward." Riley said, taking the burger king crown off of herself.

"Yeah, I second that." Jasper said.

Riley shrugged, "Alright, the Princess wants to know which one of you took her wallet." She said, feeling her back pocket.

"AGHH, MAN!" Edward said disapointedly handing her wallet back.

Jasper shook his head, "Dude.."

Lucinda was walking to the coffee shop when she spotted some muggles and Riley doing who knows what.

"Hey Riles," Lucinda said "What are you doing exactly?"

She dropped her bag, walking over to her sister.

Riley looked up, surprised that her sister was near Mad Man Foremann's Fields.

"We're doing Live action Roleplaying."

She blushed, embarrasedly.

"I'm the role of Eridessa, princess of the gaurdians of Unaforgia."

She shrugged. "Something to do. Uh-- these are my friends, Alec, Drew, Jasper, Davis, Edward, and Jefferson."

She said, gesturing to each of her guy friends, one by one.

"What'cha doing out here?" Jasper asked, raising an eyebrow, taking his hankerchief off of his neck and dabbing sweat from his forehead.

"Um," She said "The Brew's Sing Off, me and my exe are facing off, rehearsels are that way." She said pointing down the road.

"I can invite 15 people to the gig." She said "Wanna come?"

She took off her jacket and did a few backbends, to pass the time.

Riley smirked.

"I guess."

At that second, Edward, smiled at Lucinda flirtatiously, slicking his hair back, and Riley elbowed him in the stomach.



"She's taken." She whispered angrily in his ear.

"Sorry." He mumbled, regaining his breath.

Riley rolled her eyes and raised an eyebrow at her sister.

"Kai won't be there, will he?"

"No," She said "Jackson's making us rehearse separately to surprise each other at the gig. Oh, and my guests get free coffee!"

She looked at Edward.

"Should we go before or after you're done checking me out, Edward," She said to Edward before doing backbends to the tree.

"After." He said, a bit of drool on his face.

Riley raised an eyebrow and slapped him in the face, Drew catching him as he fell backwards.

"Shut up, Jones." she said, sternly using his last name.

His eyed got as big as saucers and he nodded, sinking to the back of the group.

"These guys gotta go anyways, so i'll come." she said, waving to the guys, who al waved back.

"Let's go."

"Let's go!" She said grabbing her bag.

Edward drooling was so funny

They walked all the way to The Brew and walked inside.

Riley wheeled herself inside slowly and stoppn the doorway, rubbing the muscles on her arms.

aggh.....

Lucinda was soon changing into her Outfit. She put her guitar at her shoulder and walked out to the stage.

Riley sat in her wheelchair, reading, staying quit and out of the way so Lucinda could practice.

"Riley!" She said. "How's this?"




She started into the song.

"Nice sis! I'm jump up and dance if i could but.." She pointed to her legs with a sigh.

"This contest is in the bag," She shouted.

"Are you done?" The manager asked and she nodded, she went back to get changed and wheeled her sister out of The Brew.

"Wanna head back to the park?" She asked.

"We were in a wheat field but.. a park sounds fun." she said, digging through her bag for change for god knows what, money is handy though.

"Or a wheat field," She said "Parks are soo overrated."

Riley smirked and wheeled herself down the street to the gas station.

"Hey Leonardo!" She called, turning to Lucinda, "I want you to meet a friend of mine."

A tan-skinned, shaggy-haired boy pulled his head out of a car and dropped his wrench, walking over to them.

"Hey Carver, Need a Car fixed?" he asked, smiling down at her.

Leonardo was the apprentice of the county mechanic.

"Hi," She said "I'm Lucinda."

"Hi guys," Victoria greeted her friends, walking up to them wearing a gray hoodie and brushing her long hair out of her eyes.

"Vic what up!" She said accidentally knocking over wiper fluid.

"CRAP!" She said it got all over her dress.

"I'm gonna change," She said.

"Bathroom's over there," Leonardo said.

She took her bag and walked over to the restroom to change.

Leonardo sat down on the tailgate of truck and cracked open a pepsi, looking slightly at the blonde girl with the hoodie. "Well, i'm Leo." He said, pointing at Riley, "Her friend, the greasemonkey."

Riley smirked. "Yep. Victoria, Lucinda, This is Leo."

"Ooh. That's unfortunate," Victoria murmured sympathetically as she watched Lucinda shut the door to the bathroom to change. She looked up at the tall, tan guy sitting in front of them. "Hi. I'm Victoria."

She looked through her bag but all she had was dirty, she took her clothes off and put them in her bag and changed into this. Reminds her of her tomboy stage.

"Hey," She said walking back in the room. "I was all out of options."

Leo smiled at her.

"So i assume Riley doesn't mention her small town friends?" He smirked at Riley and she blushed, "I don't-- It doesn't come to mind." She confessed, tapping her nails on her wheelchair.

"Relax Red, I'm messing with you." He smiled at Victoria, slightly glancing at her eyes and then back to Riley. "Well, you girls ever need a repair, come see me. I gotta get back to work.."

He ran his fingers through his hair and went back to work.

"Okay, Now what?" Riley asked Victoria and Lucinda, a bit confused as to what just happened.

Lucinda looked at the car Leo was looking at, the sparks needed replacing, and the radiator's busted.

"Uh," Lucinda mentioned "The sparks need to be replaced and the radiator's busted."

"And I don't know why she doesn't mention her small town friends, you guys are really nice." She said too.
