Injury Magnet

Riley's eyes darted open and she looked around, feeling the silk sheets covering her.
She was in a hospital bed, and the room certainly smelled like helium, a bit strange, but Riley sat up, sheet slipping slightly off of her.

"Huh..?" She muttered, feeling a bandage wrapped completely around her chest and abdomen.

There was a vase of flowers at her bedside, and the flowers were wilted.

Riley raised an eyebrow and slid out from the blankets, feet touching the cold hardwood floors.

It seemed she had been asleep for a few days, to even a week.

How could the flowers be wilted already..? She wondered, rubbing her forehead and running her fingers through her hair.

Lucinda, well, she was lying in the other bed by Riley's side the whole time, when she woke up, she looked away.

"Hey," She said waving her wrist with the cuts she made that day 8 of em.

Riley turned to her, laying down and covering up.

For some reason the wing was extremely chilly, for summer. And bright too.

"What are you, Emo? Stop cutting yourself." she said, voice cracking.

"How long was I out..?"

"Don't you see, I was, but that sis was my first time." She said. "And to save your life."

"A week," She said rubbing her wrist.

Why did I do that? She thought. Making sure Riley couldn't hear her thoughts.

Riley put on her baggy blue tee-shirt over her medical wrap.

"I feel like I've been out for a month.." She felt a flower, the crispy wilted petals crumpling in her hand.

"Weird.."

"Those are from Logan," She said.

"Sis, can we talk, about, what I saw, before this." She said.

Riley smiled at the flowers, Aww.. How sweet.. She thought.

"Sure."

"So, It was the view of a person, me, She walked up to the door and saw a tall red haired woman sitting with her daughter and her husband with shaggy hair." She said telling an honest truth,

"She walked up to the door and the 3 year old went 'Aunt Wuci! Aunt Wuci!'." She said.

Riley's eyes widened.

"Ermm..." She muttered, taking it all in at once and trying to pin her finger on just what it meant.

"Uhmm... I.." She looked down at the ground, "I was the woman.. wasn't I?.."

"Yeah, and the man was, you know, and the girl, had logan's hair but your eyes, she had long hair and long legs." She said.

"I wonder if that's not going to happen to me." She said looking down tears going to fall. At that moment, she realized something.

I think I love Jeremy. She thought out loud, which made that thought acidently heard to all.

..Wow.. Riley thought, somewhat shocked, but mostly excited.

"Hmm.." She said, smiling.

"Well," She said. "I know for sure that was your house, I know you make it as a artist, and you stay at home raising, your daughter and painting and drawing."

"Sounds like a great life... I have a daughter?" She grinned, actually getting quite fond of the future.

"Yeah, she's a beautiful girl, she has her mom's spunky personality." She said smiling.

"You want to know what you named her?" She asked.

"No." Riley said, smiling. "I want it to be a surprise." She smirked. "For both of us, so don't go telling Logan, Or I might just have to kill you."

She smiled. "I won't."

She looked at the ceiling. "Can I tell you something?"

Lucinda saw Toria.

"WAKE UP TORIA!" She screamed.

Victoria thrashed around, then sat up in a flash, screaming bloody murder. Panting with a sweat sheen on her forehead, salty tears dripped down her face as her heart beat fast, faster, faster.

Riley raised an eyebrow, " And that was...?"

"A nightmare," She said.

"I have a big secret to fess." She said.

Riley's eyebrows raised, "Yeah...?"

Victoria managed to slow her breathing. "Do tell," she murmered shakily.

"I think, I'm in love." She said. "With Jeremy."

Riley smirked. "Thats not a secret. everyone knows you love him."
