At Cat's house

Victoria's eyes grew wide. Fang has wings too. Only, they were different, more reptilian.

Spreading her own wings, she then saw the looming threat in the trees. Dark silhouettes, she couldn't really make out what they were, but they were waiting for the right moment to pounce, and Fang and herself were their prey.

Then, the trees exploded with movement. Victoria tried to to scream as she grabbed Fang's hand and started to fly.

Riley ran outside, "WHATS GOING ON OUT HERE!!??" She screamed, then saw the dark figures chasing after Victoria and Fang.

He has wings too? WHAT THE???

She slid her broom out and ran inside, "Something's happened!" she yelled, grabbing Lucinda and yanking her outside.

A bullet whizzed past her ear. The creatures on the ground had opened fire on them.

Go faster, go faster, Victoria urged herself.

What are those things? And why are they chasing us?

"What did I miss?" She said before being yanked outside

Riley shoved Lucinda onto her broom, "No time to explain." She said, pointing at Fang and Victoria.

She laid down on her broom, eyes squinted and darted off towards them.

They flew rapidly higher into the sky. Adrenaline rushed through him.

Where can we get away? Where can we hide? There are too many of them to kill...

He glanced at Victoria, checking to see if she was alright. The noise from the gunfire was deafening.

"Toria! Fang!" She yelled, flying up beside them. "WHAT THE HECK ARE THOSE THINGS!? GREMLINS!!??"

She glanced to her side to see Riley. Fearing for her friend's safety, she shouted, " I don't know! Just stay away! Please! I don't want you to get hurt!"

Victoria screamed suddenly as a searing pain blossomed on her right shoulder where a bullet had hit her. Blood stained her shirtsleeve red. It hurt. It hurt horribly.

Riley gasped, "Fang! Get her to the hospital!" Riley said pulling out her wand and aiming it at one of the creatures, "Avada Kedvra!"

Lucinda closed her eyes and waved her hands. When she opened them, all the things dropped dead to the ground.

Riley raised an eyebrow.

Oh that is Not Possible...

"It is, sis, it is." She said.

Riley shrugged and glanced at Victoria, "We gotta get her to a hospital."

Fang supported Victoria, still keeping airborne. "Don't you see?" he yelled. "There's more of them! They're keeping tabs on us!"

It doesn't help that they're dead! They're going to keep coming for us!

"I'm sorry. I'll take care of her, promise. But the 2 of us need to get out of here."

With that, Fang and Victoria flew into the twilight, far away.

Riley nodded as the flew off and pulled out her wand. "Accio crossbow." She said, and a crossbow appeared in her hand, arrows with it.

"Cover me." She said to Lucinda, raising her crossbow at the creatures shooting them one by one in the head.

"Accio Rifle," She said and her old AR-15 came into her thing loaded in all, while Riley shot from the front and Luci Shot from the back.

One of the creatures jumped on Riley and she fell to the ground.
It tore at her clothes and snarled, Riley picked up her crossbow and fired, arrow slicing into the creatures head as it fell limp on top of her.

She shoved it off, standing up, "This is impossible." she said, staggering over to her sister, "Have enough rounds?" She asked.

"I got about, 3,000 rounds left," She said. "Want a glock?"

"No." she said pulling an M-9 from her boot and shootibg the creqtires in the head.

Switching back to the crossbow, there was a swarm of them coming.

"I dobt think we can hold them off long enough."

Lucinda sighed. But then the creatures came back.

"Get ready!" She said.

Riley nodded, shooting three more.

"We gotta run, If we stay here we die." She said, looking up at the sky.

She imedietly took the stone her mother gave her and gave it to Riley.

"Take it," She said "You'll have all my powers, so we can fly."

Riley put the stone around her neck, laying on her broom and pulling her sister up and flying off.

Jeremy was sitting home alone a few blocks away. He was sketching a portrait of Lucinda. Nothing special, but he still hoped she'd like it.

Suddenly, a commotion was heard outside: the sound of gunfire and a few screams.

Running outside, Jeremy looked around and sucked in his breath.

Riley looked down from her broom to see Jeremy, "Luci! It's Tang!" She said pointing to him down below, Riley swooped down and landed, turning around and shot the last creature with her crossbow, smirking.

"I love this thing." She said, grinning.
