Riley Carver's Sort

"CARVER!"

Rebecca yelled, shooing away a house-elf and sipping her tea, thinking to herself.

Maybe this time it will be interesting...

Riley stepped in quietly, trying to be subtle about the rush of anxiety filtering through her veins.

She approached the woman. Make a good first impression....

"Pleasure to meet you." She said, her voice having a cheery tone.

Ugh... How stupid Can I be? that's just annoying.

Finally! Good riddance; those stupid ignorants acted just like Tyler Morgan! Finally someone I can RELATE to!

"Tea?"

Rebecca offered, surveying the cheerful girl.

"Yes, Please." She smiled confidently.

Okay, i haven't blown it yet...

She contemplated the woman, unsure if she was annoyed, or simply just didn't care.

...You get more with Sugar than you do with Vinegar. She reminded herself, quickly.

Becca handed the girl a cup, then offered her the bowl of sugar cubes silently.

"Now....I'm guessing you want me to get this over with?"

she said, a small smirk appearing on her face.

"So, where to you belong, -"

she looked down and the file.

"Riley?"

"Thankyou." She sipped from the cup silently. "To be honest, i'm not quite sure." She tried to hide, behind the teacup.

She had always been shy, that's why she had never done any extra-cirricular activities with the other kids at her muggle school.

Muggles, They haven't the slightest idea what they're missing...

"Where do you see me..?" She asked quietly.

"Perhaps a Leise."

Becca pondered, speculating the girl.

"but, then again, where do you see yourself? Who are you, really?"

This is the questioni fear. The one that haunts me, and chills me to the bone.

"Well... to be honest..I am bit shy, and tend to keep to myself. But i think I can change. Although I'd have to agree with you. Leise.."

"Where do you see yourself? Who do you want to be? I was you once. You remind me of myself, in fact; a bit."

Rebecca told her briskly.

"Well, I've always wanted to be a director, or photographer. I've always been.. behind the Camera."

She blushed a bit, somewhat amused with herself.

Rebecca raised a skeptical eyebrow, surveying the girl.

"So, where do you see yourself....here? I have my thoughts."

"Now that I think about it, Fruendlich or Leise."

She bit her lip, hoping for something to happen.

"Fruendlich?"

Rebecca questioned.

"Why Fruendlich? What makes you think that you're one, or that you're a Leise? I want to know who you REALLY are, Riley."

" I may be a bit shy... but I'm not afraid to fight, if it comes to that. I'll do whats right 100 percent of the time, unless informed otherwise by a higher rank. i'm somewhat skittish, gentle, and demeanor. Does that sum it up?"

She blinked attentively and sat, back-straight. But still loose. She was comfortable, and felt she could really be herself near the woman.

Rebecca nodded slowly.

"Fruendlich. Make them proud!"

she told the girl, brisk once again.

"Now, I have more to sort. Out."
