Macy stood up and pushed in her chair

"Be prepared, Carver, I'm going to win this, and I know it."

"HA!" She said "Next joke please."

Macy turned to Riley

"So how do we know who wins?"

"I'll tell the audience to stay after the actual contest." She said.

"That's not fair, they're all YOUR friends so they're obviously gonna vote for you!" Said Macy

"Whoever gets the most applause." she said, clapping silently to show it.

"The panel of judges can decide, there here from 'The Brew' national chain to decide for me and kai."

"Quit being such a pansy!" She snapped at Macy.

Macy gasped and jumped back

"C-c-c-old!" She shrieked

She then took a coffee and walked backstage.

"Don't let smoothie girl in." She said to the security guard as he nodded.

Riley bit her lip and handed Macy a napkin.

"Sorry for.... her."

Macy took a deep breath and grabbed her cup of coffee.

"You're so gunna get it, Carver!" She yelled as she chased Lucinda back stage

The security guard asked Macy "Pass?" He asked.

Victoria walked into the shop, hoping she wasn't late. Setting her iPod down, she pulled out her earbuds and said quietly, "I had a way, then, losing it all on my own, I had a heart then, but the queen has been overthrown..."

She looked around for her friends.

Victoria come backstage, the guard will let you through. She sent from backstage.

Kai walked out from the curtain and over to Macy.

"Hi," he said "I'm Kai."

Victoria put her iPod back in her pocket, walking backstage and finding Lucinda. "Hey Lucy!" she smiled. "I know you'll do great. Break a leg, alright? Give it your all!"

"Thanks Vic," She said "Did you meet the new girl?"

Victoria shook her head quizzically. "What new girl?"

"Man, she's a total brat, I challenged her to a singoff. Wish me luck!" She said hugging Vic.

"Where is everyone?" She asked

Victoria hugged Lucy back and shrugged. "I dunno. They should be here soon."
